Tell Us About Your Space

Commercial Window Blinds
A blind at home is used by one household. A blind in a business is raised and lowered by staff, customers and cleaners every day, and it’s part of how your space looks to everyone who walks in.
Built for daily use
Business windows get opened and closed far more often than windows at home. Simple, sturdy mechanisms and durable fabrics hold up better and are easier to keep running.
One consistent look across many windows
A row of mismatched blinds looks untidy from the street. We measure every window and order them together so fabric, colour and height line up across the whole space.
Glare on screens and surfaces
Low sun on monitors, tables and displays makes a space uncomfortable to work or sit in. The right fabric cuts the glare while keeping the room bright.
Privacy where it’s needed
Meeting rooms, exam rooms and street-level offices need privacy without making the whole space feel closed off.
Installed without disrupting the business
We can install after hours or on weekends, so you don’t have to close or work around installers during opening hours.

Offices
Office window blinds have three jobs: keep glare off screens, give meeting rooms privacy when they need it, and make a full floor look consistent. Roller shades are the usual choice, often with a heavier fabric in meeting rooms.
A light-filtering or solar roller shade softens daylight so screens stay readable without switching on every light. Solar fabric also keeps a view to the outside, so the office doesn’t feel closed in.
Meeting rooms and offices facing the street or a neighbouring building can use a more private fabric than the open floor. Blackout fabric also makes screens and projectors easier to see.
We measure every window, then order and install them together so the fabric, colour and hem height line up from one end of the floor to the other.

Restaurants & Cafés
Restaurant window blinds need to handle sun on diners at the busiest times of day, survive a busy room and still suit the look you’ve built.
West- and south-facing windows can make window tables uncomfortable at lunch and dinner. A solar roller shade cuts glare from direct sun while guests can still see out.
In a restaurant, blinds get touched and splashed. Smooth roller fabrics are simple to wipe down, and there are no slats to collect grease and dust.
Fabric colour and opacity change how a room feels, day and night. We bring samples when we measure so you can see them in your own space and light.

Retail
In a store, the windows do some of the selling. Retail store blinds need to protect what’s on display without hiding the shop from the street.
Strong sun through a shop window can fade packaging, fabrics and displays over time. Solar roller shades filter UV and glare during the brightest part of the day.
Solar fabric lets you see out, but in bright daylight it also cuts how much passers-by see in. That’s why it usually works best to lower shades only while the sun is on the glass, and keep them up the rest of the day.

Retail is work we already do. One recent commercial job was a perfume shop in Coquitlam.

If you’re choosing blinds for rental property or a strata building, you want the same look in every unit, blinds that survive tenant turnover, and one company that can handle the whole order.
Using one product, fabric and colour in every unit keeps the building looking uniform from outside, which some strata bylaws require, and makes replacements simple.
Simple roller shades and vertical blinds are easy to clean between tenants and have fewer parts to break than more decorative styles.
We take on large orders, up to a whole building. And with no minimum job size, a single suite between tenants is fine too.

Clinics
Blinds for a medical office, dental clinic or treatment room need to protect patient privacy and be easy to keep clean.
Blackout or room-darkening roller shades block the view in completely, so exam and treatment rooms stay private at any time of day, including rooms at street level.
Roller shades have one smooth surface and no slats, so they’re quick to wipe down as part of regular cleaning. We’ll show you which fabrics are easiest to care for when we measure.

Commercial Roller Shades
When businesses ask us for commercial blinds, roller shades are what most of them choose. They’re simple to operate, easy to clean and look tidy in any space, from a single office to a full restaurant.
Commercial roller shades come in three main fabric types: solar fabric that cuts glare and UV while keeping your view, light-filtering fabric that softens daylight, and blackout fabric for full privacy and darkness. It’s common to mix them, for example solar in the main space and blackout in meeting rooms.
See fabrics, colours and photos on our roller shades page.
More Options
Roller shades suit most business spaces, but not every window. These are other styles worth considering.
Motorized blinds are part of our product range, controlled by remote, wall switch or app. If you’re considering them for your business, ask when you request a quote and we’ll tell you what works for your windows.
